In KL, Time to Edit

I got in to KL after I think like 35 hours in travel or something ridiculous like that. It’s 7pm here while it’s 5am yesterday in my home timezone. I’m waiting to hit that jetlag wall so I’m heading to bed now to get a jump on it.

The plan tomorrow is to go down across the street to the mamak (the local mostly middle-eastern run corner cafe) for some fried rice and bread for breakfast; most excellent. My director and I will probably take our laptops down as well and start on the story edit until our batteries run out then come back up and continue editing and pulling plot lines. This will enable us to get down to the details of what we want to capture while in Bangladesh.

That’s about it I think for tomorrow. I think. Nothing flashy these first few days except pre-production. I love Malaysia though, I need to figure out how to work several months out of the year from here.

bumped Elite class seats on Eva for the Taipei to KL part of the trip :P It
wasn't the 13 hour leg, but hey, I'll take it! I like to get in a day or two
early to get over jet-lag before I hit the ground running.
