  • I think that's exactly what it is. I talked with Justin at HD Cinema about it and he didn't know what it was.

    It's in the source footage and I shot at a variety of frame rates so that's not it. Maybe it's the rolling shutter issue when used with ana adapter.

    But nobody else noticed ;) Either way I don't recommend the Z7U for 35mm work. Just buy a 7d if you want DOF (cheaper than the adapter). I'm hoping Scarlet fits my bill still.
  • Awesome, I want to listen to the whole thing.

    I'm seeing a "shimmer" in the entire background - kind of pulsing movement across the field. It almost looks like the Jello Effect from a DSLR shutter; is it an encoding artifact?

    Do you see it, or is it just me?
